Tonya Carter is the Executive Assistant to the CEO at Maxim Integrated. She is World Class Assistant certified and studied Business Management and Childhood Development at San Diego City College and College of San Mateo.

Tonya is a curious person with a passion for learning and has over 20 years of administrative experience and five years as a leadership development program specialist. Her first career position was as a pre-school teacher where she taught a class of two-year-old children. She changed careers and became an Office Manager for a small dental laboratory for 12 years and then moved on to a larger company where she started a career as an administrative professional.

Tonya is passionate about supporting the development of administrative professionals. She is also passionate in volunteering for local nonprofits. She and her husband Aubrey have been together for 25 years, they have two sons and a grandson. They all enjoy camping and going for hikes near the ocean in Northern California.
